His depth of experience and hands-on approach ensure that clients receive comprehensive support throughout every stage of their transaction.

Miriam Grace – Partner and Head of Wills and Probate Department

Miriam Grace is a Partner at Grace Solicitors LLP and serves as Head of the firm’s Wills and Probate Department. She specialises in estate planning, wills, and taxation, and is recognised for her rigorous, detail-driven approach to advising private clients.

Claire has extensive advocacy experience and has represented clients at all levels of the courts system, including the District Court, Circuit Court, and High Court. She has also appeared before the Labour Court and at Coroner’s Inquests, demonstrating her versatility and capability in managing diverse and sensitive matters. Valerie Cotter is the Head of Family Law at Grace Solicitors LLP. Prior to joining the firm, Valerie successfully operated her own specialist family law practice, Valerie A. Cotter Solicitors, for more than 20 years before its merger with Grace Solicitors LLP in 2023. She is widely recognised for her depth of expertise, sound judgment, and steadfast commitment to achieving fair and practical outcomes for her clients.

With 30 years’ experience advising private clients, Valerie provides specialist guidance across the full spectrum of family law matters. She represents clients at every level of the courts system—including the District Court, Circuit Court, and High Court—and has substantial experience in both contentious and non-contentious family law proceedings.

Valerie routinely advises on maintenance applications, barring orders, protection orders, judicial separation, and divorce, as well as complex financial matters arising from relationship breakdown. Her work includes advising on pension adjustment orders, property-related applications, and other intricate aspects of asset division and family finance.
